Home Corporate Worship
While God calls us to go privately into our prayer closets, He also calls us together as a COMMUNITY IN WORSHIP. Webster's Dictionary defines Community as "a unified body of individuals" or "a body of persons having a common history." We are unified as followers of Christ and, yes, we definitely have history. But, more importantly, we have a future... a future of eternal life in Heaven with the Lord God Almighty!
In the Old Testament days, the temple was the place where the people gathered to find and worship God. The temple was the place where the very Glory of God dwelt! Today by being Christ followers, WE ARE THE TEMPLE! We are where the Glory of God resides by His Holy Spirit!
So, why do we gather for corporate worship? We gather for corporate worship because our God's Glory is worth celebrating. Our worship is a public enjoyment of Who God Is!
